The train station at Cambridge is a short walk away from the city centre. There are frequent trains running from London some taking as little as 46 minutes.

If you are coming in from the North or Scotland the best route is to come via Peterbrough. For example if you are coming from Newcastle and you come via Peterbrough it takes just 3hrs 40mins.

There are also many regional services.

To get to New Hall from the station the best way is to get a taxi from outside the station. If you do decided to do this the address is:

Alternatively you can get a bus from the station. Firstly get a bus into the city centre. Then at the Post office on St Andrews street take a Citi bus number 5 or 6. These run every twenty minutes.

The nearest airport to Cambridge is London Stansted. However it is also near by to London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Birmingham.

London Stansted is 30 miles away and is linked to Cambridge via train and coach. Rynair and easyjet both fly into stansted.

If you are coming from Gothenburg Save Sweden , for example, flying with Rynair if you book now its from £56.20 Flying at 15.30pm Tuesday and a return flight at 7.00am on Saturday.

If you are coming from Valencia Spain , for example, flying with Rynair and Easyjet if you book now its from £52.36 Flying.

National express have an hourly bus service from Stansted to Cambridge, taking 45 minutes. You are not required to book just turn up on the day. If you do wish to book though please go to www.nationalexpress.com. Alternatively there are trains from the airport taking little over 30 minutes.
